Marv Girard: Marvin has been in the auction business since 1970. A graduate of Reisch Auction School in Mason City, Iowa, Marv specializes in all types of real estate, antique and modern farm equipment, estates and antiques. Marv has conducted and been part of over 4,000 auctions during his nearly 40 years in the business. 2010 will mark Marv's 40th Anniversary in the Auction business. He is a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wakonda. His wife, Pat, and three children, Carmen, Ken, and Mike, join him in the business. Marv is also an Associate RE Broker through Girard Auction & Landbrokers, Inc.
Ken Girard, CAI, AARE: Ken started in the auction business in 1997. He is a graduate of Continental Auction School in Mankato, Minnesota. He is the Responsible Real Estate Broker for Girard Auction & Land Brokers Inc. He also has a degree in Business Management from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. Ken holds the Certified Auctioneer's Institute designation (CAI), the highest degree that can be awarded to an auctioneer in the United States. Ken's wife, Sarah, also joins him in the business by assisting in the set-up of all of the Girard Auction internet auctions. Ken and Sarah also have a son, Ben, that was born in February of 2006 and a daughter, Natalie born in July of 2008. They are faithfull members of St. Patricks Catholic Church in Wakonda.
Mike Girard, CAI: Mike started in the auction business in September of 2006. He is a graduate of Continental Auction School in Mankota, MN and is also a Brokers Associate since April of 2007. Mike also has a degree in Recreation from the School of Education at the University of South Dakota. He worked as the Director of Communications for United Indoor Football in Omaha, NE for two years before joining the family business on a full-time basis. In March of 2010, Mike fullfilled his 3 year education program through the National Auctioneers Association to receive his CAI designation (Certified Auctioneer Institute). Mike was wed to Kasandra (Dillon) in June of 2009. Kasandra also helps with conducting many of the online toy auctions.
Jeff Goeman: Jeff is from Lennox, South Dakota. Jeff owns and operates Goeman Auction Service and Real Estate, Inc. He is a licensed real estate auctioneer and broker. He owns the Goeman Auction Pavilion, selling a weekly consignment auction of antiques, estates, and dispersals. Specializing in real estate and antiques, Jeff has traveled around the United States selling some of the most prestigius antiques ever offered at auction.
Glen Peterson: Glen is from Springfield, South Dakota. Glen is owner and operator of Peterson Auctioneers and is a licensed real estate auctioneer and salesman. Glen conducts antique, estate, real estate and farm equipment auctions.
Brad Olson: Brad is from Lennox, South Dakota. Brad has been in the auction business since 1997. He is a licensed real estate auctioneer. Brad is the manager at the Goeman Auction Pavilion. Brad is our in-house firearms expert selling several thousand firearms each year at auction.
Charmaine Gullikson: Real Estate Broker Associate. Charmaine obtained her real estate license and joined our team in 2006. She is a Vermillion High School Graduate and also has a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of South Dakota.
